Project: Shaker Kitchen in Cheadle Hulme

Mr H and Miss B live in a beautiful semi-detached property in Cheadle Hulme. Their kitchen, however, did not live up to the rest of the house and, therefore, was in much need of a makeover. Mr and Mrs B turned to EBKB with this goal in mind.

There were a few specific issues to address with this project. The first was the need to make the best use of a space that was fairly narrow. At the same time, Mr H and Miss B sought a breakfast bar for easy communal dining. There was also the issue of working with an uneven floor and a boiler that needed hiding. We were able to come up with a design that would address all these issues and give them the kitchen they desired.

In terms of style and colour scheme, Mr H and Miss B had a very specific goal in mind. They wanted a shaker style kitchen that followed a grey and white canvas. However, they as they chose copper utensils and appliances, they wanted certain accents to match for a pop of something different. We added copper handles to the cabinetry, which truly completed the look.

As you can see from the photos, this is such a remarkable design. It follows a popular modern kitchen trend but offers something different that is sure to turn heads. Mr H and Miss B are thrilled with their new kitchen and will continue to enjoy it for many years to come.
